Kathy Walker started obedience training and showing in 1980 with a rescue Siberian Husky and then a rescue Doberman Pinscher, both of whom earned Companion Dog Titles.  In 1983 she bought her 1^st puppy a Border Collie.   She has trained and shown several Border Collies since.  In 1994 an American Staffordshire Terrier puppy came into her life.    In 1998, Kathy began training with Terri Arnold and has been a student ever since.  She has attended multiple seminars by Terri Arnold, Janice Demello, Patty Ruzzo, Judy Howard, Janet Lewis, Sheila Booth and Sylvia Bishop.  Kathy attends Terri Arnold’s OTCh camp yearly.  As an AKC Obedience judge, Kathy attends obedience judges seminars regularly.   Kathy began as a member of Somerset County 4-H Dog Project in the early 80’s and taught for the Dog Project from 1984-1999.  She has also taught for Town & Country DTC (1987-1992), Staten Island CDC (1992-2007) and Princeton DTC (1992-2008).  She and her K-9 Partner Blake were the 2007 World Team alternate.

Kathy currently shares her life with her 2 Border Collies (Ch/OTCh Wyndspell Back in Black UDX 10, RE, OA, NAJ--- and Redbridge Keepin a Dark Secret CDX—Secret), a rescue French Bulldog (FBRN My Little Alien RE—Leo), her cats (Skye & Liberty) and 2 rescued goats (Jay and Street).
